Abstract

|
It is well known that scleroderma is a rare collagen disease in children. The authors present a case of generalized scleroderma which occurred in a 12 year old Korean girl who manifested a hardness of skin on the whole body surface, especially severe on the neck, shoulders and trunk.
Diagnosis was conformed by skin and muscle biopsy which showed increased thickness of dermal collagen and perivascular infiltration of monocytes. The brief review of literature was made.
